At Who's Walking Who Dog Training Centre, you'll learn how you can train your dog. That's right - YOU will train your dog. By using "marker based" training, we will help you get the most out of your dog and you will have a ton of fun doing it.
Marker based training is taught by using a clicker, or a key word such as "yes" (followed by a reward) to indicate to the dog they are correct. Reward vs no-reward is the key. It is not necessary in our program to use a clicker, but they will be available and we will take the time to show you how to use it correctly.
Long gone are the days of intimidation and over correction of your dog. Our style is based on respect, clarity and fairness. By teaching your dog in a clear manner, based on tested learning theories, you will get the results you are looking for without the use of correction equipment such as choke chains, electric shock and/or prong collars.
Positive based training is always up for discussion, but make no mistake...we feel that positive doesn't mean permissive. You dont have to be a push over to teach your dog in a respectful manner.
When you know better, you strive to do better. Education, yours and your dogs, is the answer.
